Leadership transition at idverde Group: Update from the Board of Directors, 27th August 2025

idverde Group announces today (Wednesday 27th August 2025) that Luzius Wirth will step down as Group CEO of idverde on September 1st. François Gilbart will be his successor.

François brings extensive international management experience with a proven track record of leadership. Most recently, he led Fedrigoni Special Papers. He expanded the business across Europe, Asia, and North America organically and through acquisitions, while achieving industry-leading ESG recognition. François was previously a Managing Director in Bain Capital’s Portfolio Group.

We thank Luzius for his contribution since 2022 and wish him every success in his future endeavors.
