Appointment of new Country CEO in the Netherlands for idverde and senior leadership support for Spain

idverde announces the appointment of Joost Heemskerk as Country Chief Executive Officer of idverde NL, effective today.

Joost brings over 20 years of international leadership experience in offshore and renewable energy. He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and is a graduate of the UNITECH International program. Joost began his career at Bain & Company, where he developed a strong foundation in strategy, performance improvement and transformation. He subsequently held senior leadership positions at SBM Offshore and 2-B Energy. Most recently, Joost served as Chief Commercial Officer at Sif Group, a leading Dutch-based manufacturer of offshore wind foundations. In this role, he was instrumental in driving business development and order intake, leading major investment decisions, and strengthening the commercial organization through strategic initiatives and acquisitions.

With his strong commercial background and focus on operational excellence, combined with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent, Joost will further strengthen idverde NL’s leadership position in the Dutch market. His international experience will also be a valuable asset as the idverde Group enters its next phase of growth across Europe.

The company also warmly thanks Marc Bolier for his leadership and for the strong foundations he has built in the Netherlands as Country CEO over the past years. Marc will continue to support idverde Group in a new role, as Non-Executive Director focusing on the development of idverde’s activities in Spain, including the integration of El Ejidillo and supporting further add-on acquisitions to build a strong leadership position in this new, seventh country. Marc’s experience and knowledge of the business will be instrumental as our growth ambitions and investments in this strategic market accelerate, while also leveraging Spain’s advanced capabilities in water-efficient and climate-adapted green services to drive synergies and innovation across the idverde Group.”
